Indepth Clinical Seminars was created in 2002 to focus on the needs of physical and occupational therapy professionals. The primary objective is to deliver high-quality educational products and services at an affordable cost. Our clinical seminars and training programs are designed to help health care providers achieve the most up to date knowledge regarding the conditions they encounter on a day to day basis in their areas of expertise. The goal is to provide these professional with tools they can use to assess their patients using evidence based approaches and enhance their ability to select the most effective treatment. These educational products are delivered through our highly acclaimed clinical seminars. Great care is given to searching the widest area of research to find evidence for tools, tests and treatment approaches that would benefit the clinicians in selecting the most cost effective assessment and treatment protocols.
The mission of Indepth Clinical Seminars is to identify and provide opportunities for the most appropriate continuing education courses in a cost effective manner that will meet or exceed the needs and expectations of therapy professionals. In conducting these seminars, attention will be focused on principles that promote and encourage the advancement of standards within the fields of occupational and physical therapy. Emphasis is placed on functional outcomes and returning patients to community living by minimizing impairments and disabilities while enhancing independence and social integration. Practice standards developed by American Physical Therapy Association and American Occupational Therapy Association will be used as the guiding principles.
Yakub I. Patel, D. P.T., M.S.B.A., B.S., B.Physio. is the owner and CEO of Yousuf Enterprises, Inc. and a highly experienced clinician with over 30 years in the field and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1979. He holds an undergraduate degree in physical therapy, a graduate degree in Business Administration, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He has worked in hospitals, out-patient clinics, industrial rehabilitation, as well as in home care settings. Over the years he has developed unique ways to thoroughly investigate available research to support diagnostic tests and therapeutic approaches. He has been an ardent advocate of evidence-based practice. He lectures at local colleges as an adjunct faculty.
